The opportunity

The team wanted its procurement programme to better connect local SMEs, community and voluntary organisations and businesses with more opportunities to work on private and public sector contracts.

What we did

We ran workshops with the buyer's network across multiple stakeholders in the private and public sectors, to better understand the current gaps, opportunities and challenges, and turned this into a strategic direction note for building a social value framework.

Bringing together the buyer's network created a shared vision and understanding of what is needed to create local economic growth and social value.
