The opportunity

The Council wanted a regeneration strategy for each town that balanced economic growth with culture, community priorities and their distinctive characters.

What we did

Working alongside partner consultancies, we helped shape the strategic vision, developed the social value approach and worked with partners to build a compelling, evidence-backed Town Investment Plan and wider funding narrative for each place.

Why it mattered

The work established a clear long-term direction for regeneration and contributed to securing significant Government investment in both Margate and Ramsgate's future, to the value of more than £40 million.
